Simply the Best - Each Canon printer I have bought is better than the last
Pros: Perfect print quality right out of the box! Tech support is awesome! Cheap cartridges
Cons: NONE!!! Full review USB 2.0, Network, Memory card reader or connect your camera direct, it has Color and B&W Fax that can store up to 100 pages, flatbed and duplexes, what a deal!! The Canon Pixma MX700 printer prints near-lab-quality photos on your desktop with 1600 nozzles spraying ink, scans photographs at 2400 x 4800 resolution, and copies at up to 30 pages per minute! Of all my printers (5 in use), this is my fastest! The 4-color ink system prints copies of your photos at up to 4800 x 1200 resolutions. It also has an enhanced scan resolution of 19,200x 19,200. It has rear and bottom paper trays standard. The specs tell the rest of the story. What a great printer! This is one of their newest printers. I am replacing a Canon MP500, it finally gave up. I wanted another Canon because I loved my last one. I also have the MP830 and I cannot say there is anything more on it that would justify the cost difference for me. It was a bonus that it uses the same cartridges on all three models. I have never able to get that out of any 2 HP's. Right out of the box it was near ready to use. With the USB connection and adding the supplied ink tanks you are ready to go. No need to do a head alignment or any of that other stuff. They have it ready when you open the box. And it is Vista ready. All the buttons are well laid out and the menus are easy to use. The cartridges are cheap, easy to find. Everywhere I have looked has them in stock. With the resolution increase and the network connection it made it an easy decision for me. The one problem I did have turned out not being the printers fault but Canon's Tech support walked me through my networking problem. It took 2 hours to fix because of Vista. THANKS for the EXCELENT customer support CANON!! Hats off to them!! I must say again that is was not a problem with the printer and a fault they sure didn't have to spend the time with! It just shows Canon is fully behind their customers it sure re-enforced my opinion. |
