The Amazon.com web site is a great way to get you shopping done. The best time that we ever shopped there was just before Christmas. It was amazing how much we ended up getting for such a small amount of money. I would say that the Amazon.com web site is a family favorite. I have many family members and many friends that shop at Amazon.com.

What Amazon.com sells:

Amazon.com sells every thing from A-Z. If you are looking for it, you can most likely find it on the site. Every thing has it's own section on the site. Toys, games, clothing, NFL and other sports, outdoors, home goods, electronics, books, movies and a ton more.

To explain it a little better. Amazon hosts not only it's own store but also other sellers items. You can select to shop by seller or shop the Amazon store. The best way is to shop Amazon because a lot of times you can get better deals. But if Reebok has an item cheaper then Amazon does you can buy it right from the amazon site.

If you go to an item like a baby seat or some thing. Click on the item page. Up will come a new page saying some thing like 8 new and used starting from such and such a price. You can buy it new or used through reputable recommended sellers or get it right from Amazon. I my self have always bought from Amazon since it has always been cheaper.

What I have purchased from Amazon.com:

I have bought tons of stuff from this site. I have been a customer of theirs for years. But just this past Christmas I bought a lot. So I am going to start there. I purchased a hand mixer, diapers by the case load, wipes by the case load. I bought some NFL items such as a toy truck, a jersey and a few other items. I ended up buying tons of toys. They toys were all on a major clearance this past Christmas.

In fact a Barbie that would go for over $20.00 cost $4.99 and a board game called Hungry Hungry Hippos that normally goes for $15.00 or more cost only $3.00 even. It was great. I also bought a camera and some accessories for it and a few other items. I had over 200 items in my cart at the time that I checked out and my total was only $309.00 give or take a few cents.

How the items were:

All of the items that I had purchased from the Amazon.com web site were exactly as shown in the pictures. You are able to see many views of most of the items which helps when you buy things from the site. I liked every thing. All of the gifts we gave ended up being big hits. For the price it worked out so great. Every thing was in tact.

The prices:

These are unbeatable prices! You can beat them any where. The gifts that we bought for people would have cost us over a thousand or more any place else. It still amazes me. The regular prices are not bad either. They are all very cheap and if you buy from Amazon directly you often get the free shipping that they offer on most of the items that they sell. This saves a ton of money for me every time that I buy from them. I love the prices. Like I said they can not be beat.

The shipping:

Shipping is fast. I use priority pretty much every time. But the day before Christmas eve last year I saw a great deal on a doll my daughter wanted so I bought it using over night, and it was brought to me on Christmas eve! The items are always packaged well. I have never had a package that was not packaged well. I am always pleased with how well the items are placed and protected by the wrapping in the boxes.

The shipping costs are great. FREE if you buy right from Amazon and if not you can usually get cheap shipping by choosing standard or priority. The faster the shipping, the more it will cost. But they are still fair prices.

Ease of ordering:

It is very easy to order from Amazon.com. Just add what you want to your cart. Go ahead and place your order, type in your billing and shipping information, choose a chipping method to use. Ask for gift wrap if you want and put in your payment information.

This site is set up very well. Each item is in the right section and you can always use the search bar if you know what you are looking for to start with. I would say to browse the whole store. There are hidden deals every place you will look.


Payments:

Amazon takes credit cards, e-checks money orders and more. However, if you buy from a seller through Amazon, it may be possible that they do not take money order orders. You need to check first if ordering through a second seller. The Amazon web site is a secure site. I always feel safe shopping with them and have never had any type of a problem.

I always pay with credit card. But there was one time when I lost my credit card and was waiting for a new one so I paid by money order so I would not have to keep my order on hold any longer then I wanted to. I sent the money order in and got my order three days after they got my money order. It was a quick easy process and I had no troubles at all.

My feelings and recommendation:

I would recommend trying out shopping at Amazon.com. They have a lot to offer and a large variety of great items to choose from. There is some thing for every one on this site. It doesn't matter if you are big or small, male or female, adult or child. There is some thing on the Amazon web site for you.

Like I said. I have never had a problem shopping on this site. I have never had a problem with any of my orders, items or the customer service. The Amazon site is set up very well, easy to order from and ships very fast too. I may have mentioned mostly about my Christmas shopping. But I also have shopped there many other times over the years. I have always had nothing but good things to say about this site and I do recommend it.
